Press and hold to activate the Sourdough Mode and if things get extra rustic, just lower the doneness level for a more even result.

I received the Breville Eye Q 4 Slice Toaster to review. It was easy to take out of the box and set up. It is a nice looking toaster but it is big. It will take up lot of room on the counter. It has different levels to choose how you would like your toast. You press the button to lower the toast and it pops up when it’s ready. You can choose between regular bread, sourdough, bagels or timer mode for waffles or pop tarts. If you want the bread toasted more there is a little bit more option to choose. I tried wheat bread and sourdough. I should have toasted the wheat bread a little longer but I will learn for next time. The sourdough came out good but I did need to cut the bread because the full slice will not fit in toaster. It is a nice addition to my kitchen and easy to use. My family will enjoy using it. .
This Breville toaster is such a luxurious high-end upgrade! It has a sleek, sturdy, premium look. The wide slots fit different types of bread, including thicker slices and bagels, and the browning settings make it easy to get the toast just the way you like it. When the toast is done, it doesn’t spring up to scare you; it quietly, slowly rises. I also like the convenient cancel and “a little more” toasting button and removable crumb tray, which makes cleanup easy. It toasts incredibly evenly without leaving areas, pale or overly browned. It’s definitely a little fancy for a toaster, but the design, features, and performance make it feel worth the upgrade. 
It has little to no noise when operating, it is rather big but not too big its about half the size if a microwave, the build quality screams expensive and when it starts to toast it is very simple to operate just put it in and it automatically does it for you, it is also rather low maintenance because not much else needs to be put in other than bread!
