Best hand mixer
This has to be the best hand mixer/ scraper. It has nine speeds plus boost that have an intuitive speed selector that is electronically controlled to spin at a precise speed no matter what the load. It has quick release beaters, a mixing light, quiet scraper beaters, count up timer, pause button, a beater IQ that detects the type of beaters and adjust the speed range it's a good day to work smarter no matter what you are missing. It also comes with two balloon whisk, dough hooks and a storage case to hold everything in it. In my opinion you'll never find a better hand mixer than this.
Rubber breaks off scraper beaters
I bought this item for its quiet reputation. Four sets of scraper beaters are now unusable. It's very frustrating to have to pick grey pieces of rubber from creamed butter and sugar. I have never used this product with hard ingredients like nuts. This beater is quiet and the light on the batter is lovely, however the rubber in batter is unacceptable.
Love the mixer! Scraper beaters not so much
I love the power of this hand mixer! I do not have a stand mixer so a good hand mixer is a valuable asset in my kitchen. I have had silicone covered beaters from other brands in the past and they always start wearing out in a few months. When I got this mixer in December, I decided to solely hand wash my beaters in hopes of them lasting. However, 6 months of use and the silicone is breaking off. They have been solely hand washed and used in metal mixing bowls. I was really hoping they would last at least a year. Plus they are out of stock so I can’t order replacements. Breville, please make plain metal beaters so I don’t need to replace them twice a year.
