I've used the unit a couple dozen times now for basic dough setting, cinnamon rolls and fully baked loaves. It's produced great bread and is easy to use. Only complaint would be that the collapsible paddle is hard to clean. Included recipes are great too.
Just briefly looked at other reviews and apparently I'm not the only one experience the issues of poor engineering design of the collapsible paddle. As others mentioned one thing it is almost impossible to clean it to be fully operational as once the dough gets in the cavities and gets baked afterwards even after soaking overnight it wouldn't collapse freely. But the biggest let down was the small screw that keeps two piece designed paddle together eventually backed out during bread making and gouged the bottom of the pan making this bread maker inoperable now. The paddle sits on the shaft that has a notch and the screw is longer than the clearance between the bottom of the paddle and the pan so once the screw backed off, it just keep making a groove in the pan while mixing my bread together with aluminum shavings.
I have owned many bread machines over the years, but hands-down, this is the BEST MACHINE EVER!!! I have made many many different kinds of bread, and each and every loaf comes out PERFECT! I’ve read the reviews regarding the paddle, but if you are able to get in there with a small hex key and tighten both of the screws just to where there is some resistance in the paddle, you should never have a problem. In addition, if you soak the paddle in hot water and DAWN, and work it back-and-forth to get any dough material out from in between the two sides of the collapsible paddles, you will never have a problem! Easy to use, easy to clean, and works FLAWLESSLY!!! Love it 😍
