Waste of actual money
I bought this off Amazon as a present for my wife. It worked fabulously for all of 6 cups of espresso and began leaking from the side (ruining the wood table it was on). Breville replaced it with a machine… that worked for about 30 espressos and is now failing and breville will not repair or replace it. They do not stand behind their product and neither will I.
Descaling process does not work
Coffee machine on the whole ok. I TRIED to descale my Vertuo machine (made by Breville). DOES NOT WORK. online assistance no help. Placement of serial number on the bottom was SUCH a bad decision. When you run into problems, you have to provide the serial number of the machine (even though they have all the info for the warranty.) To do this, of course, you have to empty the machine since there is always a little water in the pipeline. Honestly, where do they get the people who make the design decisions? I'll keep using my machine without descaling. Recommend the machine as long as you're not in an area with water that promotes lime scaling.
Best Coffee Ever Now I’m Spoiled
Got this 7 months ago & honestly I can’t go without coffee from my machine. Pretty much won’t drink anything else. I wish I could take it with me when I visit with family but it’s a tad big for that. Maybe I’ll buy a smaller one (but the reviews on those are not great). But this machine for the price is awesome!
