Had it for 8 years, use it 3x/week, works like a charm. Super fast & easy to clean — helping overcome the biggest obstacle to juicing. I got it into my head that I should get a "slow juicer" & got a Hurom on a friend's recommendation. That thing was hell to clean & super, super slow to work. In the end I did an output comparison — maybe it would be worth the slowness if I got more juice? Nope, only got 10% more juice (measured every gram on a food scale). Not worth the hassle. Back to my trusty Breville, knowing the speed/output ratio is perfect for frequent use, which is key. Thanks all who make this great product.
I have owned two of the 800JEXL Juicers. The first one was when I was married. My husband and I had it while we were married and it lasted more than 8 years. I say more than because when we divorced he was using the juicer as a diet aid so he took it with him. Since then I ended up buying another juicer (the exact same model) and I have owned it now for 6 years and it still works like brand new. I am not a person to juice all the time but it is of high quality. I highly recommend this juicer. The only thing I would not recommend is putting the food pusher or pitcher/pitcher lid in a high heat dishwasher on the bottom rack. I made this mistake and it warped both of mine.
Super easy to use and clean up is very simple. Only prep of fruit is cutting to 3 in diameter pieces, so small apples go in, but we do a half or quarter cut of larger citrus fruits or apples. Easily handles though skins and rinds. We ran a whole pinapple though with no skinner no problem. The only thing to be be aware of is that this is not a blender. So if you want spinach or leafy greens blended in what we do is juice what we want to juice and then put that in a blender if we want the fiber or whatever else left in. That being said you still get a lot of good pulp out of citrus fruits. We'd buy it agin for sure.
