The reason I give it four stars is for some reason it arrived in unsealed box, with water drops inside water container, accessory parts were just loose in box without being in a sealed bag or even being wrapped up. A piece of plastic was taped on top of water container like a "bandaid", not sure if this is a return or what. I washed everything with hot soapy water that was washable. Seems to work fine. Very well made stainless steel product. Not very clear instructions as to how to operate. No power button, you push two buttons to turn it on. No power button alone to shut it off. I do like the very heavy duty long power cord. Most appliances now they are too short and you have to plug them in right by outlet. The stainless steel machine looks very nice in kitchen, not finger print proof but wipes off easily. I have never tried one of these before. Ended up with hot water on counter by pushing wrong button trying to shut it off. My fault. Works quickly with good results and flavor. Gets hot quickly too. I am sure I will get it all figured out and love it. Anyone who loves a nice hot, fresh beverage will love it. Should last for years! Fairly compact size so doesn't take up a lot of space. The reason I ended up with water on counter was my fault, the steam wand was pointed out where it didn't run into drip pan which is easy to empty and clean. Heating system gets hot quickly. 3 seconds! Low pressure coffee infusion and a 9 bar extraction. Wand purges itself for easy maintenance. Single and double cup filters, easy to switch out, use and clean.
The Breville Bambino is a great espresso machine. It makes great espresso. Single and double espressos. It has the steam wand built in so you can steam milk and make all of your lattes cappuccinos , americanos, cafe mocha, macchiato, etc. The machine I got came with everything you need except for a steel container to steam milk. I used a steel cup and my daughter been a small using a ceramic cream pitcher. You need a proper pitcher to do latte art. I just drink them down and it makes perfect espresso just like a coffee house or fancy restaurant. I get my coffee from a supermarket that grinds it so I just buy some espresso beans and have to ground for espresso machine which was number 3 on the coffee grinder machine. I then scoop some put it into the metal basket which I already put inside the aluminum porta filter. I then tap down the coffee with the tamper it comes with. I put it to the machine it turns and I lock it into place I hit the button for either I cup or 2 depending which one I am using the coffee comes out almost instantly you do not have to wait for the water to heat up. the machine does that super quick. After I make the espresso. I fill a cup or small pitcher with milk, I use almond, I then steam it to how I like then add the milk to the coffee. Cleaning is quick and easy, and it even comes with a tool to clean the wand to prevent build up. It is really easy to make these drinks that would cost a great deal at a coffeehouse, so the machine will pay for itself. My family us super happy and are enjoying the Breville Bambino machine. I highly recommend it. And it does not take up a lot of space, it is as big as my regular 12 cup drip coffee machine, so you can definitely add this to your counter.
Love my new Bambino ,Brews the perfect cup of Expresso , my favorite is making a vanilla Latte with stevia, and Lactose free milk. Easy to clean, but I do have 1 suggestion if they could make the Steamer swing out sideways to clean nozzle into the sink or other vessel.
